Alien Airplay is the creative partnership of Shawn Robbins and Joe Kustek — two lifelong friends who first met in high school and discovered music together. Life took us in different directions, and we lost touch for years. But after some major turns in life, we reconnected with a renewed purpose: to finish what we started. In 2024, we set out to write and produce our first full original album. Wider Reality is the result. Every song was written by both of us, shaped by late-night ideas, shared memories, and a friendship that survived time and distance. Shawn Robbins brings the lyrics, vocals, harmonies, and keyboards. Joe Kustek brings the bass, electric and acoustic guitars, and keyboards. Alien Airplay is simply two old friends creating something real. All songs were mixed and mastered by Joe Kustek.
